On Friday, May 9th, the Singelyn Graduate School of Business hosted a memorable graduation celebration at the scenic Kellogg House to honor the Class of 2025. The evening kicked off with welcome remarks from Professor and Director of Graduate Programs Meihua Koo, and Singelyn Family Dean Sandeep Krishnamurthy.
David Singelyn ’84 provided a special address to the graduates. He spoke passionately about the transformative power of graduate education and its vital role in shaping future leaders. Offering insights for success, he encouraged graduates to stay connected and give back to the community that helped shape them.
Jayson Yardley, MBA ’98, CEO of Knowtion Health and a member of the CBA Dean’s Advisory Council, provided the keynote for the evening. In his speech to the graduating class, the CEO emphasized a key trait shared by all great leaders: the ability to evolve. He urged the new graduates to embrace change, understand their core values, and harness the power of storytelling to inspire and lead.
“Great leaders are often wonderful storytellers. Through their stories and actions, you learn their values, you visualize their words, you find areas of common empathy, and ultimately connect,” he said.
The celebration wrapped up with reflections from David Bohl, MSBA Student of the Year and Dean’s Student Speaker, before closing remarks from Associate Director Yuanjie He. The evening also honored Faculty and Students of the Year.
